Thank you for choosing Taruna TDK Fresh Bakes. Please carefully read our Terms & Conditions before placing an order or using our website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General

• These terms apply to all products and services offered by Taruna.

• By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.

2. Orders, Deposits, and Payments

• All orders are confirmed only after a 50% non-refundable deposit is received. The deposit secures your chosen date and order details.

• The deposit must be paid within 5 hours of order confirmation. If payment is not made within this time frame, we reserve the right to cancel the order or offer the slot to other customers.

• The remaining balance must be settled before delivery or collection.

• During peak seasons (such as Christmas or Mother’s Day), collection and delivery schedules may be adjusted. Specific time slots will be communicated at the time of booking.

• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (e.g., fire, illness), where a full refund may be issued.

3. Pricing

• Our pricing is thoughtfully structured based on the design complexity, ingredients, and size of your cake or cupcakes. All prices are fixed and non-negotiable to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistent quality for every order.

  When you make an inquiry, we will provide you with a detailed quote outlining the cost. This quote remains valid for 14 days from the date it is shared. However, please note that we cannot reserve an order or confirm your preferred time slot until a deposit is received. This ensures that we can allocate resources effectively and maintain the highest standards in preparation and delivery.

  If more than 24 hours have passed since you received the quote, we encourage you to check the availability of the date and design before proceeding with the order. This will help avoid any inconvenience or disappointment in case certain slots or designs are no longer available.

  We are committed to delivering exceptional products with impeccable service, and our pricing reflects the care, creativity, and craftsmanship that go into each creation.

4. Delivery & Collection

• Home Delivery:
  We offer home delivery for orders with a minimum value of ₹1,000, subject to availability. Delivery charges are applicable and will depend on factors such as time and distance to the venue. The final delivery cost will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

  Order Verification:
  It is your responsibility to inspect the cakes or cupcakes at the time of collection or delivery to ensure the order is complete and free from damage. If we handle the delivery, please check the items upon receipt.

•  

  Accurate Information:
  To ensure smooth delivery, you must provide complete and accurate details, including your name, address, and pincode. We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.

•  

  Failed Deliveries:
  If no one is available to receive the delivery at the agreed date and time, the delivery will be considered a Failed Delivery. In such cases, the items will be returned to Taruna, and you will be required to collect the order from our studio in Kandivali West. Please note that we are unable to refund the order cost or delivery charges for failed deliveries.

  Order Collection:
  Cakes and cupcakes can be collected from our premises only at the prearranged date and time. The collection address is:
  Mahavir Nagar Signal, Link Road, Kandivali West, Mumbai.
  The full address and collection details will be shared with you once your booking is confirmed.

5. Best Before Date & Storage

• Our cakes and cupcakes are baked fresh and best consumed within 36 hours after your event.

• As they are made from natural ingredients without preservatives, their shelf life is shorter compared to commercially available products.

• Items must be refrigerated and removed 15 minutes before consumption.

• We are not liable for spoilage or quality issues arising from incorrect storage or consumption outside recommended timelines.

6. Allergies

• We take the safety and well-being of our customers seriously. However, please be aware that while we take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen does handle ingredients such as nuts and other common allergens. As a result, we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes or cupcakes are completely free from allergens.

  By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and accept that it is at your own risk if you have allergies or sensitivities to any ingredients used or handled in our kitchen.

•  

  Please note that we do not offer gluten-free or dairy-free products at this time.

  Common Allergens Present

  The following allergens, where used, are clearly highlighted in bold on our ingredient list:
  Celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, and tree nuts.

  Additionally, we use professional food colors in our icing, which may vary depending on the chosen design. The manufacturers of these colors have indicated that their products are made in facilities where various allergens are present and therefore cannot guarantee allergen-free status.

•  

  We strongly recommend that customers with known allergies or sensitivities consult with us before placing an order. Your health and satisfaction are important to us, and we are happy to assist with any questions you may have.

7. Non-Edible Items

• Some products may include decorative items like dowels, ribbons, or banners that are not edible.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure these are removed before consuming the product.

8. Limitation of Liability

• We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to our products, except where required by applicable law.

• Proper storage, handling, and consumption remain the responsibility of the customer.

9. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.
